Ashley James Turner MA

Founder & Musical Director

Ashley is a freelance Singing Coach and Musical Director. He is currently on the singing faculty at London Studio Centre, Performers College and DanceBox, as well as supporting professional clients in his private singing studio.

 

Ashley has worked for a number of companies across UK and Europe. After graduating with a first class BA(hons) in Performing Arts, he toured Germany, Denmark and Sweden. On returning to the UK he gained his MA in Opera and Music Theatre.

 

Since graduating he has composed work for theatre and contemporary dance companies and his work has been heard in many venues including, The Tobacco Factory (Bristol, UK), The Lowry (Manchester, UK) and Mercat des las Flores (Barcelona, Spain).

 

Ashley has taught singing and led choirs at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Thame and Oxford, for universities and training colleges including, Wilkes Academy, Platinum Academy of Performing Arts, Arts Educational, University of Cumbria, Amersham and Wycombe College.

 

His private singing clients have been successful performers in the West End, UK and international touring productions with some of his younger clients gaining places at some the UK’s leading training colleges.

 

As Musical Director Ashley's credits include, Merrily We Roll Along, Gypsy, Pajama Game, Cinderella and Bernada Alba. He is delighted to be musical directing MTC - Aylesbury.

Chris is a Singing Teacher currently on the singing faculty and Junior Musical Theatre Dpt. Lead at prestigious Laine Theatre Arts and at London Studio Centre.

 

Chris trained in both performing arts and dance with a number of professional performance credits to his name. Some of his performance highlights include an international tour of France and Germany with White Horse Theatre, productions such as Dial M For Murder and Rhinoceros, Company and Into The Woods and Chris has also performed in regional pantomimes.

 

In addition to performing he also has a number of theatrical production credits including Musical Directing and Theatre Directing. Chris has worked with youth theatre projects with Opera North and the British Youth Film Academy, as well as teaching singing and drama.

Meghan Louise Taylor

Meghan Louis Taylor joined the MTC team in September 2023, musically directing the High Wycombe branch. 

Meghan Louise Taylor is an accomplished performer who originally hails from America. Her classical voice training began whilst earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia before embarking across the pond where she earned her MA in Vocal Performance at the Royal Academy of Music. Since graduating, Meghan has cultivated her teaching career both privately and at various schools across London and Buckinghamshire, alongside her professional pursuits. Outside of the classroom and offstage, Meghan utilises her vocal talents to serve the film and TV community as a voice artist and voice director. Onstage credits include genres from Opera to Pantomime and are billed under the stage name Louise Taylor. Her most notable roles include Rosalind from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, the title role in Donizeti’s Lucia Di Lammermoor and most recently a Ugly Sister in Cinderella pantomime.
